Bollywood Baadshaah Shah Rukh Khan & Priyanka Chopra will be joining Lady Gaga a Live Event ‘One World: Together At Home’

As you all know how the world is still enclosed in the grasp of COVID-19. So to come over this disaster pandemic together and help those who are in need of help, the biggest celebrities of the world have come together. WHO’s live event “One World:Together At Home” for raising funds to aid people to combat coronavirus.

For this global initiative our King khan and Desi girl have come together along with other mega stars Lady Gaga, Elton John and many other icons. Though they will work on the same project, both the superstars will not share the screen together. This will be the virtual collaboration and will not break the rules of global lockdown. This live event will see the performances by John Legend, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, J Balvin, David Beckham, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Chris Martin, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Alanis Morissette, Keith Urban, Andrea Bocelli, Burma Boy, Kerry Washington, Kacey Musgraves, Paul McCartney, Lang Lang, Stevie Wonder and the badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan.

Across the globe, the biggest celebrities have joined the hands along with Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra to be part of the fundraising session of WHO’s COVID-19 solidarity response fund. The fund is for assisting and equipping worldwide healthcare employees. Last week only protective medical equipment and diagnostic kits (1.5 million) were provided around the globe. WHO and Global Citizen have announced the date of the concert to be on 18 April streaming live on ET around 8PM. Amazon Prime Video, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube will be streaming the event too. Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert along with Jimmy Fallon will host the show.

$35 million have already been raised by the organisers, but expectations are much higher since all mega stars are going to be on one stage, which is unusual in itself. Apple has also announced a $10 million donation for the world cause. Tim Cook, Apple CEO said in an interview with Jimmy Fallon and Lady Gaga. Lady Gaga also confirmed the reports of raising $35 million for Global Citizen in the past week. A statement given by Global Citizen confirming that there will also be a digital-only program on Saturday, 18 April.
